Ways to Celebrate PRIDE in LA

June is officially here and that means it is time to celebrate LGBTQIA+ Pride Month. We have rounded up some ways to celebrate Pride in LA.

Tip 1: All Month Happy Hour with A Charity Tie In

Kick off Pride Month with a Happy Hour for a cause. Kimpton Everly Hotel is featuring a MODERN LOVE cocktail all month at EVER BAR inside the hotel. A portion of proceeds from that drink is going to The Trevor Project. Sofitel Beverly Hills is also featuring a HEY PAPI drink with proceeds going to LA LGBT Center.

Tip 2: Pride Festivals – WeHo Pride & LA Pride

OUTLOUD @ WeHo Pride – June 2-4, 2023

Kicking off Pride Season, OUTLOUD @ WeHo Pride is the flagship music festival and concert experience of WeHo Pride Weekend, returning to West Hollywood Park with a star-studded, high-energy line-up celebrating and advocating for queer voices in music. Musical artists include Carly Rae Jepsen, Passion Pit, Grace Jones, Idina Menzel, Orville Peck, Santigold and more.

 PLUS: WEHO PRIDE PARADE

LA Pride in the Park – June 9-10, 2023

The largest Pride music event in the country, LA Pride in the Park will expand this year to a two-day extravaganza, taking place at Los Angeles State Historic Park on Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10. Global superstars and GRAMMY Award-winning queens Megan Thee Stallion and Mariah Carey are headlining Friday and Saturday, respectively. The festival will also feature an array of local vendors and LGBTQ+ exhibitors; a large sober space, sponsor giveaways, Erotic City for the leather community, and the new Trans Galleria, highlighting the art and creativity of the LA trans community.

TIP 3: PRIDE MOVIE NIGHTS

Saturday, June 17th – Gentlemen Prefer Blondes at Hollywood Forever Cemetery (cinespia.org) Presented with LA Pride.

Giggle and wiggle on the dance floor with lux DJ sets to make our Pride Celebration shine. Diamonds are a girl’s best friend in our free Photobooth, so bring the glamour.

Saturday, June 24th – The Rocky Horror Picture Show at LA State Historic Park Presented with LA Pride.

DJ sets before and after the film will set the sonic oscillator ablaze. Our bar has that elusive ingredient to get the celluloid jam going. You are the guiding star in our Free Photobooth, so wear your RKO best.

Tip 4: Pride Cocktail for a Cause

Crystal Head Vodka recently released an updated Pride bottle. The brand’s colorful new skull bottle is reflective of POC, trans individuals, non-binary people and more. In honor of the Pride Month, Crystal Head also pledged a generous donation to the LA LGBT Center. Pick up a bottle at Total Wine & mix up some cocktails.
