You may think due to the name this place only offers waxing services, but OMG they offer the most luxurious and thorough facials with the best products. My face feels so clean and I am always ready for bed after the added facial bonus of their massage with your head, neck, arm, and hands. Relaxed is an understatement. Not only do I leave with glowing skin, but my body calms down.

Every time I have been to Stript Wax Bar on 8218 W. Third Street in LA, I am treated like royalty by an expert esthetician.  This past week I enjoyed the skincare expertise of Danielle Aarsvold, a skincare lover and 7 year skincare veteran. Her goal is for every client to find a simple routine that keeps their skin fresh, glowing and healthy.  She believes that in the billion dollar industry that is skincare, knowledge is power. I like how she agreed with me that Arcona in Santa Monica offers incredible skincare products since I have been hooked on everything they have invented since I discovered them a few years ago.

Danielle customized my facial due to my skin type and concerns – eye wrinkles and break-outs. She used the Alchimie scrub and a collagen building alpha peptide exfoliant as well as a two step serum by Alchimie that tones and brightens. I have never heard of this line, but she gave it rave reviews. Since I was going straight home, Danielle used the Juara brightening mask on me instead of a moisturizer.

Danielle was so pleasant. I highly recommend her. She told me everything she was using on my face and why the product was helpful. She said it is always a pleasure to be able to pamper and educate people on how to keep their skin in it’s optimum condition.

I love our Alchimie skincare scrub – the European style formula is a double action exfoliant using fruit enzymes, cranberry beads and jojoba pearls.  It is gentle and effective and gives all skin types a great glow.
