Let the water pour over you in your walk-in shower or sink into a tub while sudsing up with natural, fresh scented, essential oil infused Lather products. Thereafter you may partake in a lovely Rustico catered Continental breakfast, before heading off through the streets of Santa Monica on a complimentary bicycle. It’s just that easy to be the eco-friendly being you want to be at the Ambrose Hotel.
The re-launch event this past week, showcased the streamlined rustic elegance of the boutique hotel, as travel and hotel VIPs as well as key press and social media influencers mingled upon the top suite’s terrace, while sipping specialty cocktails by Wicked Tango Whiskey, Leaf Vodka, Lucky Buddha Beer and ZIOBAFFA Wine, all organic and delightfully tasty. Appetizers and dessert were also provided by Santa Monica organic restaurant, Rustico.
I was struck by the craftsman beauty (complete with vaulted ceilings), and the abundant light and airiness. The Ambrose hotel rooms are anything but a square box with a bed. There is a flow within each space that evokes a peacefulness and a fluent energy. I could imagine creating very easily while staying in any of their 77 rooms.
With the Wilshire business district a stone’s throw away, Third Street Promenade a five-minute drive West in their complimentary and very stylish house car, the management team’s’ utter dedication to providing exceptional hospitality and minimum environmental impact via the leadership of GM Warren Nocon, it’s more than easy to stay at the Ambrose for business and pleasure, in complete symbiosis… for just about $300 a pop.
