Partida Tequila and Miami-based artist Alejandro Vigilante, alongside Partida CEO Gary Shansby, celebrated the launch of their culinary and fine art collaboration, showcasing Mexico’s rich culture through the childhood game of Loteria by merging pop art and cultural tradition in one bold, colorful stroke. After premiering the collection in New York, the two were still riding the wave of excitement for their project in the hip new Hollywood space on November 12th, 2015. Their passion for Mexico, smooth tequilla and art was infectious!
Press, celebrities, influencers and key guests sipped on thoughtfully crafted Partida Tequila cocktails while partaking in a super fresh taco bar, conversing about art, LA life and more with one another, and dancing to hip tunes provided by DJ Marcelle. Guests couldn’t help the temptation to snap a few selfies in front of the art mural, where we could find Alejandro explaining the Partida Loteria game, his artistic process and vision to key guests and press, and Gary Shansby speaking about the history of Partida, his passion for Mexico and the involved process of creating the variety of fine tequilas that Partida has to offer.
The evening inspired thought, while the tequilla tantalized our taste buds, and kept the crowd a buzz. Each bar delivered an incredible specialty drink that beautifully featured the blanco, respisado, anejo and elegante, unique to the nuances of each variety.
