We fell in love with Yalla Mediterranean before the fist bite because our Yalla girl, Tammy Hughes, was just too adorable when she brought by two massive trays to our LaLaScoop Sunday Bubbly #LAbubbly to help us celebrate our two-year anniversary. But, then we tasted the goods! So many flavors tantalized our taste buds from each of the Mediterranean spreads, we had to force ourselves to put it all down for our guests to enjoy.
And now we’re so excited that Yalla has opened its doors in the heart of Culver City. We went to the press opening only to be greeted by more smiles, wine served on trays, beer iced in coolers and an incredibly generous sampling of whatever we’d like from the menu of ‘”farm to fork” loveliness “by way of Greece, Morocco, Turkey, Lebanon, Tunisia, and Egypt.”

We wanted it all, and almost got it. Seriously! We were even greeted by the gracious manager towards the end of the evening. He happily offered to bring us refills, wouldn’t take “no” for his offer of dessert, and even gave us doggy bags. My plate was awesome even as a leftover meal. A true sign of yumminess. Although, I have to confess it was mere hours before I opened the box.
The food is delicious! There are a ton of options. The portions are more than generous. And the people are fantastic! Head over to Yalla and check it out yourself.
