After SpireWorks landed in Westwood in late 2016, foodie Angelenos on the eastside seeking the flavors of döner, döner kebob and vertically spit roasted meats can now head to Eagle Rock to its recently-opened second location, serving customers since January 20.
I had my tastebuds try the destination signature Peking sandwich, which was extremely flavorful and spicy. With chicken, it has hoisin sauce, green onions, crispy onions, angel hair carrots, cucumber spirals and the spicy rayu shaker.
Out of the marvelous array of beverage selections, I tried the fizzy and light clementine soda. It went well to wash down the spicy sandwich.
CEO Bob Kaufman said they searched for real estate all over LA County for its second location and the location at 4945 B Eagle Rock Blvd., in Eagle Rock Plaza with a CVS and newly-opened Sprouts grocery store, made the decision fairly easy. It’s in the site of a former Chase Bank.
