On Saturday, December 9, 2017, married dance superstars Allison Holker and Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss hosted pediatric patients at their annual Holiday Party presented by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Celebrity Duff Goldman’s cupcakery Duff’s Cake Mix in West Hollywood was transformed into a sweet, creative wonderland for families to enjoy. Patients of Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and Children’s Hospital of Orange County, and their families, were treated to a gourmet lunch followed by their very own decorated cupcakes for dessert. The magical holiday theme carried through the afternoon with a fun holiday photo booth by Polite in Public, glitter hair braids, caricatures, and balloon art.

It was a family affair for “Grey’s Anatomy” star Jason George, “24: Legacy” star Dan Bucatinsky and “People Of Earth” star Oscar Nunez who all brought their kids to enjoy the party. “This Is Us” stars Faithe Herman, Eris Baker, Lonnie Chavis, Mackenzie Hancsicsak and Parker Bates had a blast decorating their own signature holiday cupcakes along with “Modern Family” star Aubrey Anderson- Emmons. Celebrities with their kids and patient families, enjoyed all of the holiday festivities together. The theme of the party was family, and best of all, kids just being kids.

The contributions of the generous sponsors of the day included The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, who treated guests with a gourmet coffee and hot chocolate bar. Harmless Harvest kept everyone well hydrated with their organic coconut water. That’s it sent everyone home with organic, healthy treats. Love Swirls mobile pop-up cart was there with yummy vegan, organic, kosher & non-organic cotton candy – freshly spun! Kendra Scott had some great holiday shopping at their mystery pull jewelry bar where 100% of the proceeds were donated to the Children’s Miracle Network. All of the guests got the VIP Treatment by TEAM DUFF of Duff’s Cake Mix.

Miracle Kid Chloe Davisson shared her inspiring story, the true meaning of what the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals are really about. Miracle Kid and “America’s Got Talent” finalist Angelica Hale treated everyone with an incredibly moving performance of Andra Day’s hit song” Rise Up.” A visit by Santa, and the opportunity for the children to share their wish list, was the icing on the cupcake of the day!
