It is Time to Wanderlust 108 in Seattle

That’s right! Wanderlust 108 is back on Saturday, May 19th to bring us closer to the summer vibe under that sweet Seattle sunshine, this time in MarymoorPark in Redmond. It’s the world’s only mindfulness triathlon and you if you love to be outside, move, run, meditate, get your yoga on, listen to some incredible people speak about their truths and learning, try some new modalities and feel the beat of a festival, Wanderlust just might be your ticket to officially launch the season.

Wanderlust, the producer of the largest yoga lifestyle events in the world brings Wanderlust 108, in partnerships with adidas, to urban parks across the globe. I experienced my first 108 on the Santa Monica pier in LA, and I was hooked from the start. If you are ever in LA, you’ve got to check out their incredibly elegant 10,000 square foot Wanderlust Hollywood studio where they host trainings, classes and workshops by some of the most incredible teachers from near and far.

This year’s Wanderlust 108 triathlon will be rockin’ with a 5-k run (walk, skip or saunter) with new fitness embellishments by adidas, a music-fueled outdoor yoga class led by Chelsey Korus and a guided meditation led by Melissa McKay. Mindful triathletes will also be grooving to the sounds of DJ Drez, browsing the marketplace of local craft and food vendors, and experiencing a host of bonus fitness classes throughout the whole day.

An alkaline water fanatic myself, I’m super psyched to hydrate properly throughout the day with the naturally alkaline spring water of Flow, and am especially looking forward to sipping Flow’s brand new organic flavored water: Cucumber + Mint and Lemon + Ginger. What?? Yum!!

A fourth generation farm and leading grower, Rainier Fruit will be providing on-site sampling of their delicious organic fruit and sponsoring the Wanderlust Walking Lunch.

Ford Motor Company, “built on the belief that freedom of movement drives human progress” is proud to be the Official Vehicle of Wanderlust and to support healthy initiatives inside, and outside, the company. Come to the Ford Zen Den to learn more about the sustainable practices and wellness programs at Ford, and of course, take home some incredible giveaways.

And check this out! Wanderlust will be donating $1.08 from every ticket sold to The Global Fund to Fight AIDS with (RED), which could provide over 3 days of life-saving HIV medication. To date, (RED) has generated more than $500 million for the AIDS fight, supporting HIV/AIDS programs and services in eight countries in Africa. 100% of money raised goes to work on the ground—no overhead is taken.
