A little more than a month has passed since the celebration of all things cannabis that is April 20th- but that doesn’t mean we should be settling into our old weed ways! If you’re anything like us, you used the holiday as an opportunity to sample some of the newest offerings in the marijuana market and incorporate them into your routine. We’ll highlight a few of our new favorites here, to help you hype up your high!

On the edible front, one of our favorite brands has introduced some new offerings that are mixing things up in one case, quite literally!

Kiva Confections has been putting out quality options for many years now- they are perhaps most well-known for their Terra milk chocolate bites, which managed to strike that delicate balance of creating a sweet THC-infused treat that doesn’t taste too much like a flower- the blueberry bites are a great starting point. But they didn’t stop there- one of their newest creations is the Lost Farm gummies made with live resin, “which retains the plant’s delicate cannabinoids, flavonoids, and terpenes to deliver a distinctively brighter, more complex, and full-spectrum edibles experience”- you can’t go wrong with any of the new flavors, but one of our favorites is Strawberry Lemonade featuring the super lemon haze strain.

However, perhaps the most interesting new item from Kiva involves their collaboration with Yeastie Boys Bagels- the Everything Bagel Seasoning Munchies Bar! This limited edition bar features an exclusive blend of the Yeastie Boys’ signature “Everything Bagel” salty seasoning sprinkled on Kiva’s cold water hash-infused dark chocolate bar, and is dosed at 100 mg of THC per bar with 5 mg THC serving sizes. The collaboration is Kiva’s 2022 edition of their annual spring small-batch Munchies Bar release- they are $20. They are now available for a limited time at select dispensaries across California while supplies last. 

Edibles are a staple in our cannabis cabinet- one thing that has historically not been are pre-rolls. That has been changing with the increasing availability and quality of these products, especially the new offerings from Raw Garden. This Santa Barbara-based cannabis brand has recently expanded into this product category by launching infused cannabis joints. These 100% pure cannabis joints are infused with micronized refined live resin crushed diamonds and are available for purchase at dispensaries across California. 

Their goal was to create a fresh, smooth, and consistent experience, using high-quality flowers and concentrate and a trade-secret post-harvest and drying process that allows them to preserve the flower’s freshness and dry in small lots. And they deliver- gone are the days of harsh joints that immediately launch a coughing fit- these rolls are something you want to sip on and enjoy. It’s also nice to know that they are known for their regenerative growing practices and breeding program and one of the largest cannabis seed banks in the world, housing over 1,000 distinct cultivars and 25 million seeds and counting. They are available now, priced at a 3 pack for $18.

Finally, it’s important to make sure we don’t sleep on that CBD! One of the newest companies out there putting out new ways to incorporate this incredible product in your everyday life is women-owned CBD wellness and skincare brand B GREAT.
