A HEAL-ing day in Malibu hosted by Kelly Gores

What you think is what you get!

Be grateful for the now.

When suffering or coming across hardships, think, “I am grateful for the experience,” and then let it go.

Surrender. Don’t resist to what is, even with a cancer diagnosis. Instead of thinking, “This chemo is going to kill me. Think I am happy to have this serum running through my body to help me get better.”

Your mind is a powerful tool.

These were the messages I came away with after a Heal-ing Day on April 25 at the dreamy beachfront Malibu home of sparkly glowing Kelly Noonan Gores, entrepreneur, director, and producer of the award-winning 2017 documentary HEAL who also wrote a follow-up book, HEALDiscover Your Unlimited Potential and Awaken the Powerful Healer Within.

A strong circle of women mingled beachside for this World Healing Day event bringing new friendships as a sound meditation was led by Tiffany Leonardo next to the crashing waves and a healing circle with Rob Wergin helped center and ground guests releasing tensions and daily stressors. Rob carefully placed his powerful big hands on guests’ chests and backs helping to transform, release, and clear blockages, unhealthy beliefs, old emotions, and negative imprints from our bodies. He made sure to catch guests as they slowly melted back into their seats. It was moving to see a young man around my age suffering from a crippling genetic disease shed numerous tears during the session as he seemed to be letting go. This was my first time participating in a healing session and my anxiety and stress lifted away. I felt lighter.

Rob’s healing retreats sell out way in advance. Learn more about Rob Wegin’s healing tools and transformational practices. A follow-up Q&A with a sit-down lunch helped many get their burning questions answered and reminded us of the importance of the mind-body connection.

Seated next to writer friend Martha McCully, Kelly Gore’s mom, and her long-time friends, I listened to the trauma of one guest and how it had crippled her work life. Many talked of woes and ramifications from the pandemic. Some of our favorite inspiring females were in attendance too like Brooke Burke, Julianne Hough, Caitlin Crosby (Founder of The Giving Keys), and Keely Shaye Brosnan.
