This year, Shade Hotel Redondo partnered with Wellspring 88 for a Rooftop Wellness Series. This Rooftop Ritual Series has included yoga sessions with sound healing and Qi Gong, a beautiful, meditative movement practice for energy flow and grounding.

This past Sunday (July 27) weekend we experienced a beautiful rooftop yoga session with instructor Jeri Reeder who led us through a playful Yin Yoga session with tarot, bubbles, and hula hoop – connecting to ourselves and others atop this special South Bay location. As the sun set, California’s coastal salty cool air felt refreshing.

Yoga is open for anyone to book, but treat yourself to for a night or two at the hotel to absorb the ultimate wellness with your own private bathtub on each room’s balcony. Watch the sunset splash as the palm trees poke across the horizon with the din of the boats clinking – all from your tub. In the morning, find your Zen with in-room coffee on your balcony too.

Don’t miss the next Shade Hotel Redondo x Wellspring 88 ROOFTOP YOGA SESSION – BREATHWORK – ON SEPTEMBER 28.

Each class ends with sunset hues and a complimentary glass of champagne at Sea Level, the Shade bar.

For those want to take full advantage of the property, each weekend this harborside hotspot offers private Hampton Water cabanas and the rooftop pool transforms into a pink hued fun escape with Hampton Water’s specialty drinks with pink sunnies, fans, and tote bags.

WHY WELLSPRING 88

Located in Redondo Beach, Wellspring 88 is a holistic wellness center co-founded by Dr. Kelly Waggoner, a clinical psychologist, and Farnaz Reneker, a mystic, spiritual author and architect. Together, they created a sanctuary that blends the wisdom of depth psychology with ancient spiritual practices – a place where modern healing meets timeless tradition.
