Padel at the Parker: the inaugural Palm Springs Pro Am hosted by FORA Travel

Only a few luxury hotels in America offer new state-of-the-art outdoor courts for the country’s fastest-growing racquet sport – Padel – a mashup of tennis and squash, where you can play off the tempered glass walls. Now Parker Palm Springs offers two stunning courts on their glam peaceful estate where hotel guests and locals who are Padel members can play by reservation.

FORA, the company changing the game of booking travel with VIP perks, partnered with Parker Palm Springs and LA-based Padel Up, to host the Palm Spring Padel Pro AM, the first ever Padel Pro-Am to come to the California desert oasis.

During this same March 6- 8, 2026 weekend, pro tennis fans descended upon Indian Wells for the BNP Paribas Open

The invite-only exhibition match featured Argentine padel legend Fernando “Bela” Belasteguín, presented in partnership with Wilson Padel, alongside a surprise appearance by Argentine tennis icon David Nalbandian. Also, the weekend featured fun festivities – cocktails, passed apps, private dinners in hedged gardens, and the opportunity for anyone to come watch the courtside play. Even a Master Class was held called The Peter Alonso-Martinez Experience and Wyn Padel.

The growing trend of racquet sports worldwide shows no signs of slowing down

Guests included famous personalities, Padel enthusiasts, and FORA partners in town from NYC like co-founder Henley Vazquez. It almost felt like Hamptons meets Palm Springs.

While an estimated 500,000+ tennis fans now descend on the Greater Palm Springs area for the BNP Paribas Open, Palm Springs is definitely the ideal venue to attract new audiences to the sport, especially given the iconic Parker’s whimsical 13 acre resort loved by locals and visitors alike.
