Never Leave LA

Leather Is Popping Up All Over LA

Luscious leather is popping up everywhere in La La Land. We are not talking short leather ankle boots or short edgy zipper leather jackets almost bolero style, or even leather purses and bags. We are talking thin leather creating the whole front of a tank top or the arms of a sweater. Leather in the details is leaping on so many of my favorite new fashion finds, like a pocket, the piping of a shirt or skirt, a waist belt tie, or the elbow patches on a sweater.

Leather skirts are everywhere! Leather skirts in faux or real leather are all the rage. From short leather skirts with ruffles, flared leather skirts, skater style leather skirts, and the classy straight above the knee leather skirt you can either dress up or dress down.

I’m digging the bad ass bad boy rocker T-shirt with the slim straight length leather skirt or the short ruffle leather skirt with either printed black tights or a short fitted sweater. Funny how the 90’s version of leather has been given an updated twist.

VANE LA (designed by actress model mom Vanessa Angel), one of my favorite sleeveless silk dress and top designers, has come out with a 100% lambskin leather pencil skirt. The stylish sexy skirt is going to be my go-to holiday outfit with its leather front and suede back, and elasticated waistband for a comfortable and flattering fit. Find this creation and more leather at Rona online or at the boutique Rona on 13021 Ventura Blvd, Studio City, California.
