Looking elegant in a Ted Baker dress, beautiful, classy Pretty Little Liars and Vampire Diaries star Torrey DeVitto hosted an important 1st Annual charity event for the children of Uganda called Road to Hope. This organization provides ongoing support for children, many who have lost one or both parents due to cancer or HIV/AIDS. Many who are orphaned have no one to care for them, and often are forced to drop out of school and look for jobs such as selling ground nuts on the street or begging for money. Child caregivers are often the only ones taking care of their sick parent(s). The Road to Hope program was created as a resource to offer assistance and guidance to those child caregivers who most often would find themselves on a much different road were it not for the assistance it provides. To learn more about this important cause, watch the film clip Road to Hope.

Torrey DeVitto is a a longtime Hospice ambassador and the event helped the Palliative Care Association of Uganda and The Hospice Foundation. She shared some of her stories while visiting Uganda. On Monday, April 14, we found ourselves at Bootsy Bellows for this important cause surrounded by gorgeous actors and models, and were delighted to run into one our favorite couples, Wendy and John T. Kretchmer, the director of Army Wives. This buzzing Monday night in West Hollywood included numerous stars pledging their support, as well as buying $40 bracelets to showcase their kindness. The host committee for the event also included: Brant Daugherty, Chris Evans, Ian Harding, Arielle Kebbel, Bethany Joy Lenz, Lindsey McKeon, Brittany Snow, and Daphne Zuniga.

Sponsored by Hope So Bright Foundation, Akvinta Vodka, and Magic Hat Brewing Company, we watched 18 year old pop star Pia Mia rock it out with her lovely voice and Trevor Jackson shake things up with his singing and dance moves. We snapped a pic with sweetheart Brant Daugherty.

We love to see those using their success to give back in meaningful ways. Thank you Torrey DeVitto!
