One of the best parts of living in LA is the endless rooftop bars with sensational sunset views. West Hollywood’s Palihouse has officially opened their quaint, swanky rooftop bar space. We were lucky enough to be invited a few weeks ago not only to witness the beautiful afternoon turn into twinkly stars, but to sample some of the most divine and refreshing drinks we have ever had in LA. Period. Their mixologists definitely know what they are doing.

LaLaScoop highly recommends pretty much the entire drink menu Palihouse has concocted, but here are our favorite summertime mixtures:
the fizz – grey goose le poire (pear), st.germain, lemon juice, simple syrup, muddled cucumber/mint lemonade
cup of life – veev acai, raspberry/pomegranate/green tea infused simple syrup, lime, garnish sprig of rosemary
fig tree – veer acai, lemon, honey, ginger beer, garnish fig
writer’s block – new amsterdam gin, st. germain, lime, la marca prosecco
hibiscus royal – double cross vodka, champagne, lemon, simple syrup, hibiscus flower
Of course you can’t go wrong with these classics – the moscow mule, the strawberry mojito, and the classic martini with a truffle blue cheese olive. Starting to feel a bit hungry? Try some of their bar bites, like their bacon cheddar tater tots, their fried mini chicken sandwiches, their fish tacos, or their truffle fries.
Cocktails range from $12 – $16. Sipping cocktails with 360 degree views can’t be beat, especially in a space that feels like you’re in someone’s hip backyard.

Palihouse rooftop is now open for weekend revelry. Open Thursday to Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m., guests must be on the list for entry, but it’s first-come, first-served. RSVP by emailing sunset@palihouse to get on the list.
