The 41 Ocean Club in Santa Monica was abuzz with cheer Thursday, June 19, as guests mingled on their outdoor patio space over cocktails and a silent auction. Guests applauded as the Rockin Models Fashion Show dazzled us with dancing, super cute Cali style outfits from Sewn + Still and the Kin Boutique, and even kids modeling and break dancing. DJ Sandra Luesse kept the tunes spinning and the fashion jamboree shaking.

E! News Ken Baker hosted the event while Graze Lazenby, the Founder of the ultimate workout Rockin Models, shared why this cause was near and dear to her heart. A mini video informed us about the Both Ends Burning Campaign founded by Craig Juntunen, who adopted three children from Haiti with his wife when he was fifty. Their motto: Every child deserves a family. The 501(c)3 organization is dedicated to defending every child’s human right to a permanent loving family. Both Ends Burning works to protect and advocate for the rights of orphaned children and seek to eliminate the institutionalization of children and the devastating effects that result.

Since the Founder Craig Juntunen flew in for the event from Scottsdale, Arizona, we had a chance to meet him and hear about their movement. Craig leads the campaign’s effort to build a social movement to enact real and lasting change for the world’s orphaned and abandoned children.
Both Ends Burning has successfully placed hundreds of children with families in the US from other countries, but many of these international adoptions have been halted due to new immigration and emigration laws by certain countries, therefore many children are STUCK in orphanages losing valuable developmental years. The evening culminated with dancing, Ken Baker taking a selfie with the fashion crew, and the feeling that the money raised at this event was going to a very worthwhile cause.
