Bootsy Bellows in Hollywood (next to Blind Dragon and across from Boa) unveiled a serious glitzy new makeover this past Tuesday night filled with beautiful servers waving pink feathers, impromptu marionette performances, and beautiful people everywhere matching the saucy, sexy decor. It’s like the h. wood Group wanted to create the Garden of Diamond Eden but instead mesh that theme with two lounges taking you back to the peepshow era from the 1920’s.
A place where I once drank magnums of champagne in the back room years ago has kept its All-Star status as a Hollywood hot spot. My senses were in overload with burlesque dancers, girls in garters, and an evening amped with Jason Derulo singing live in this small space. I was clinking bottles of Evian with my water drinking friends while the cocktails flowed all around me.
David Arquette strolled in soon after me sincehe is part of the new venture. Justin Beiber, Jason Derulo, Kate Beckinsale & Len Wiseman, Michael B. Jordan, Aubrey O’Daye & Shannon Bex, Cheryl Burke, Johnny Wujek, Marlon Wayans, Metta World Peace, Brittany Gastineau, Thomas Middleditch, Hill Harper, Markus Molinari, Brian Lichtenberg, Travis Scott, and Scooter Braun were some of the stars and fun peeps that came out to play and see this new facelift. The paparazzi was in full force as I was leaving reminding me how silly this town can be.
