
What better way to spend a summer night under the stars with the California Philharmonic at the Santa Anita Race Track hugged by the mountains or an afternoon at the acoustically sophisticated Walt Disney Concert Hall?
This Saturday, July 11 experience live jazz while enjoying the breathtaking views at Santa Anita Race Track, then, hear Maestro Victor Vener and the California Philharmonic play Rodgers, Hammerstein & More, featuring favorites from The Sound of Music & South Pacific.
Special guests will include Anthony Fedorov (a finalist on the 4th season of American Idol) and his wife Jennifer Paz, who returns after mesmerizing the audience last year with the CA Phil.
Gates open at 5:30 PM for live jazz and dining, including delicious gourmet food offerings available on-site, with full bars. Table and lawn seating on the lush green grass of Santa Anita Race Track’s infield are available, complete with the area’s best views of the beautiful San Gabriel Mountains.
The main program will begin at 7:30PM.
Spend Sunday afternoons (starting Sunday, July 12) at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in this architectural landmark. Cal Phil at Walt Disney Concert Hall performances start at 2:00 p.m., with the intimate pre-concert Talks With The Maestro at 1:00 p.m. in BP Hall.
