The brilliant yellow of Lolë active wear caught my eye immediately as I approached the booth at IDEA World Fitness Convention Expo today, namely because it’s the same color as my fitness biz, Andiamo Body.

I got excited and then super excited when I touched the fabrics. Wow! Each item is light, soft, elegant and beautifully made! The lines of each piece are also very clean. I thought to myself, “This is the outfit for an Andiamo Body photo shoot, for sure!” In a seemingly split second, I had picked out my future pants, shorts, top and a jacket, all in an array of bright yellow and crisp white with a touch of grey. And, then it just got better.

One of Lolë’s lovely ambassador’s, Fatan El Harake, approached me with an open smile and we started talking about the powerful movement of the industry and the mission of Lolë. She relayed to me something that she had heard at a talk earlier in the morning at Idea World that made such beautiful sense. She conveyed that when you look at all the different options (let’s say in yoga apparel for women) there is an amazing concentration. But rather than fearing the competition, seeing each and every one of the choices as a single tree growing in the forest up towards the light, shifts one’s perspective to one of inspiration and beauty. I love this!

The fitness industry, and yoga in particular, has been growing exponentially and is projected to continue to grow. It’s an incredible movement towards the light of health, wellness, joy, community, love of self and love of others, inspiration, fun ~ just like all of what Lolë Women is about. And, just what Andiamo Body is about too! I felt like I had found a company soul mate!

Their motto: Live out loud every day! Doesn’t that just make you smile?

Beyond the gorgeous line of clothing that Lolë offers, the Canadian company also showcases a slew of amazing fitness women from all over the world via their website. It’s inspiring to listen and watch Lolë’s collection of videos that reveal the voices and paths that these women in fitness have taken and what they bring to their communities.

Under the direction of Community Coordinator, Jennifer Noriega, Lolë also brings thousands of women together in spectacular venues to practice yoga together outside in the fresh open air. The artful aesthetic of each of the yoga events, from the setting, the placement of the mats and what women dawn on their bodies, is mind-blowing. And the teachers are world-class.

We are lucky enough to have the Lolë White Tour landing smack dab in Los Angeles upon the Santa Monica Pier and will be led by the one and only Sean Corn on November 7th. We’ll be there, dawning our white Lolë outfits! We hope you are too!
