Vegan proud for a wee bit over ten months and loving it, I can’t tell you how excited I was to become privy to Estrella’s vegan friendly New Year’s Eve celebration. Inspired by the famed Joni Mitchel and “Mama” Cass Elliot Lauren Canyon bungalows and evocative of the artistic communal vibe of their era, Estrella is more than a new hot restaurant. Estrella, named after Joni’s song “Ladies of the Canyon,” provides an elegant indoor and outdoor space to breathe, connect and enjoy delectable nourishment within.
As president and CEO, Allen Nathan says, “The food is American with a little adventure, very approachable yet influential.” Top Chef alum and Executive Chef of Estrella, Dakota Weiss, who was raised eating organic, garden-grown fresh foods, has created a globally inspired menu with a variety for all types of foodies, including vegans, just off LA’s Sunset Strip. Book your tables pronto!
