World-renowned Singer-Songwriter and newly initiated restaurateur, Moby, has not only opened up a new vegan hotspot in LA. He’s just announced that 100% of the profits of Little Pine will go to animal welfare organizations, including: The Humane Society of the United States, Mercy for Animals, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, Farm Sanctuary, Sea Shepard, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), and Animal Legal Defense Fund.
“Opening little pine was never meant to be a conventional entrepreneurial endeavor. I want it to represent veganism in a really positive light, and also help to support the animal welfare organizations who do such remarkable work.” (Moby)
His dedication to wholesome food, organic farming, animals, and the community are exemplified throughout his vegan bistro from the conception, the cuisine, the experience, and now to the aftereffects. What an incredibly generous and beautiful thing to do!

Vegan for the last 27 years, Moby asserts that“Little Pine is an extension of my beliefs, so I have decided to donate 100% of the restaurant’s profits to animal welfare organizations.” In line with his always cutting edge music, Moby’s efforts again push up against the common grain, “Opening little pine was never meant to be a conventional entrepreneurial endeavor. I want it to represent veganism in a really positive light, and also help to support the animal welfare organizations who do such remarkable work.”
Little Pine officially opened its doors in Silver Lake in November 2015, serving Mediterranean-inspired California dishes, made entirely of organic and sustainable ingredients. The cuisine speaks not only to vegans, but anyone who simply appreciates remarkable food.

It was an act of pure love that Moby created this spot and he has his hands and mind in everything. In partnership with Interior Designer Tatum Kendrick of Studio Haus, Moby designed the space to combine the laid back California ethos with a modern perspective on nature to blend beautifully into the local vibe. Even the retail space at the front of the eatery, which showcases hand-picked, diverse home accessories and gifts, was specially curated by Moby. His bistro now serves as a hip neighborhood gathering spot and is open all day from 7:30am to 11:00pm daily.
