Yah, that’s right, you’ve read it correctly! ‘A Box for Your Box’ Campaign launched in celebration of International Women’s Day this month. It’s not really a laughing matter, however, because there are girls in this country that actually don’t have the proper means to take care of themselves during “that time of the month.” So generously, in a partnership with actress Chloë Grace Moretz and feminine hygiene organization Days For Girls, a company called Monthly Gift., built by women for women, is providing easier access to necessary feminine care. And, we can help double down on the cause.
An outspoken advocate among young women, Moretz stated, “Every woman deserves to feel like her best self every day, and nothing should hold her back. I am passionate about this cause and so proud to work with Monthly Gift. and Days For Girls to provide the means to women in need around the world – and right here in our backyard.”
So, for every box purchased in the month of March, Monthly Gift. is donating a box of feminine care products to women who do not have access to hygiene products. That sounds like sweet little package to me!
How does it work? With every monthly subscription this month, Monthly Gift. will donate the Little Black Box of tampons, pads and liners to Days For Girls, supporting women in need across the United States.
“We believe all women have the right to feminine hygiene products and are so thrilled to partner with Days For Girls and to have the support of Chloë,” said Kimmy Scotti, CEO and Founder of Monthly Gift. “It is our mission to not only offer an accessible product, but also to raise awareness, educate and empower women about their own bodies and health.”
Monthly Gift., a feminine care subscription-based service powered by App technology, is a portal for women’s monthly health needs. It not only delivers a Little Black Box – for your box – in time for each subscriber’s next cycle, which is super fantastic, but does even more in way of helping to educate women about their own bodies, something so many women desperately need.
The App allows users to track their menstrual cycle, mood, symptoms, sexual activity and protection, as well as sets reminders for period and fertility status, birth control, monthly breast exams and annual OBGYN appointments. Subscription delivery works in tandem with the App – providing users the option to subscribe, manage subscription preferences, and receive a notification when their Little Black Box has shipped.
Based on the information provided by users in the App, Monthly Gift. caters to each woman’s personal cycle and develops box options containing an assortment of feminine care products, as well as the all to necessary ‘Emergency Chocolate.’ Monthly Gift. has created its own line of feminine care products to include tampons (light, regular and super), ultra-thin pads with wings (regular and super-long) and ultra-thin liners.
Launching across the United States, the Monthly Gift. App is available for download on iOS and Android at no cost and offers three affordable, customized subscription plans ($10-$13 per cycle). That’s not too shabby! However, you can get educated without the little package arriving at your door, because signing up for Monthly Gift. subscription is not required to use the mobile App.
“It is our goal to provide all women and girls around the world with the proper knowledge and access to sustainable feminine hygiene solutions,” said Celeste Mergens, Founder and International CEO at Days For Girls. “We’re honored to work alongside Monthly Gift. in support of both our missions to raise awareness and make this possible.”
Isn’t time we took care of ourselves and other women and girls around this country? Get with the program and get a ‘Box for Your Box’ and simultaneously send a box for another women’s box too! Let’s support and celebrate each other!
