Aliens Invade Hollywood at MAXIM’s Annual Haunted Bash

On Saturday, October 21st, Karma International’s Official MAXIM Halloween Party kicked off LA’s hottest Halloween season at Los Angeles Center Studios in an A-list alien invasion not to be missed!

Costume-clad PURE models abounded, and celeb sightings included Joanna Krupa in a genie-inspired ensemble, Tara Reid in a barely-there red devil jumpsuit, and Dancing With the Stars heartthrobs and new parents Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd as a skeleton Little Red Riding Hood-themed duo. BachelorNation fans were wowed to see rumored couple Corrine Olympios and DeMario Jackson getting cozy as a feathered angel and a motorcycle dude, while Robbie Hayes was in the house as the late Hugh Hefner with a bunny on his arm, and hunks Iggy Rodriguez and Chase McNary came out for tricks and treats as well. Lucas Yancey, aka Whaboom, came dressed as a cheeseburger. Enough said about that. As a huge fan of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise, I was, admittedly, a happy girl… As were all the ladies who snapped photos with the costumed cast members all night long!

After the most glamorous ghosts in town made their way down the red carpet, guests entered what can only be described as an alien encounter, MAXIM-style! Haunted vignettes were gruesome and frightful, a giant UFO was quite literally out of this world, and aliens were situated everywhere the eye could see – brought to life by an amazing special effects lighting design.

But it wasn’t all about the who’s who and the incredible decor – the music sent a chill through the air, as party-goers enjoyed sounds by DJ Drew, DJCJ, Pravin Shaw, and Eva Kane. Purple Reign’s Prince Tribute Show took the stage, as well as the magic of Adam & Selina, and the Black Tape Project Fashion Show. But the highlight of the evening was when headliner Jason Derulo gave us a special private show amid the alien spectacle. His backdrop said “TALK DIRTY TO ME” in giant neon letters, and fans went wild for his stellar performance.

In addition to the bustling bar that featured Provincial Vodka, we were treated to CORE Water to stay hydrated, a gourmet crudite spread, and BellaDonna Sweets for everyone’s late night sweet tooth. You couldn’t miss the MAXIM ladies sporting custom-made Kandyshop Bikinis just for the event, and The Gypsy Shrine added a touch of be-dazzled glitz to the night!

And as if the event itself weren’t enough, guests made their way through an incredible silent auction that featured the high profile VIP events, travel experiences, autographed rock star collectibles, athletic memorabilia, and Playboy merchandise.

The whole night was one of those memorable Halloween nights that could happen only in Hollywood… And if guests were reminded of the fun they had the morning after, Morning Recovery was gifted to all, helping alleviate hangovers the next day!
