Face Haus celebrated their “Open Haus” on August 18, 2018 at their newest location in USC Village. The “facial bar”, similar to the Dry Bar concept, is revolutionizing skin care by providing high-quality skincare “For The People”.
Co-founded in 2013 by good friends Karey Burke (EVP Programming and Development at Freeform), Dawn Olmstead (Co-President of Universal Cable Productions and Wilshire Studios) and Jenn Worley, (Current Face Haus Chief Creative Officer), Face Haus is on a mission to change the once pricey and time consuming industry into something affordable for everyone. These working moms were inspired by one daughter’s ‘first facial’ party that broke the bank. “Great things come out of angry women”, Burke said laughingly about her inspiration to pursue this journey. They realized there were no good, affordable skin care options for teens, men, or busy women.
The trio brought on a team of superstar estheticians and Face Haus’ exclusive consulting dermatologist, Dr. Harold Lancer (known for making celebrity faces glow- Kim Kardashian, Oprah, Jennifer Aniston and Ellen to name a few). Using top-tier skincare brands and innovative technology in conjunction with their commitment to accessibility is what sets Face Haus apart from the rest. At $65 for all signature facials tailored to specific age groups and needs, their assortment of treatments also includes affordable add-ons and the special “United We Smooth” facial designed by Dr. Lancer that incorporates exclusively Lancer products and microdermabrasion.
The Los Angeles born facial haus currently has locations in Studio City, West Hollywood, Santa Monica, and now USC Village. Its open concept, modern design, selfie cam, and open-minded stance attract a diverse clientele, and will now embrace the University and DTLA set at the beautiful new USC Village.
Guests were treated to complimentary lip and eye facial treatments, candy bar and bites by USC’s favorite Pizza joint; Rances Pizza Chicago. Nick Viall, beloved former Bachelor and Dancing with Stars cast member supported the grand opening by receiving his first ever facial. Founders, Jennifer Worley and Karey Burke along with some of the USC Song girls were there to welcome all.
Each location is available for private events whether it be a bridal shower, bachelorette or even your teen’s birthday party.
