“Tequila is made with a lot of time and love;” it is apparent that Te’Kila owner Kevin took the art of his restaurant’s namesake to heart when he created the space and atmosphere. The authentic décor is matched with signature drinks and dishes that continue to pay homage to any favorite local spot south-of-the-border.

The care and attention to detail start at the top and is clearly a passion and pleasure for both Kevin and his team alike. Truly knowledgeable on the menu and its contents, quality is not sacrificed in any element. Featuring fresh, made daily tortillas and salsas and a bar with a ‘zero mixto’ tequila standard, the flavors combined with the attentive staff is only the start of your experience.

Beautifully blended margaritas pack a punch in both flavor and actual alcohol content and can be enjoyed in any of the three seating areas. Belly up to the bar for a strawberry or lime concoction or to taste one of more than 160 varietals the pure and authentic tequilas good enough for sipping. Alternatively, take your libations to the dining room to start with the ceviche and then enjoy the homemade tortillas alongside the delicious al pastor offerings (might I recommend the unexpected shrimp, pineapple and pepper al pastor). Each dish is better than the next, sharing encouraged!

Finally, end your evening in ‘Rita’ the speakeasy inside of Te’Kila. Open Wednesday – Sunday the chic space feels like a special find yet has all of the drink offerings of the bigger bar. With a little luck you’ll catch a live performance or comedy show, but no matter the show schedule you will enjoy the intimate lounge’s atmosphere.
