Never Leave LA

The Vault Garden is now open in San Francisco

The Vault Garden is now open. They have researched and developed a socially safe environment for you to enjoy creative cocktails and delicious food in a heated, outdoor full-service garden.

From Hotel Triton, it is an easy walk to the Financial District for dinner at The Vault at 555 California Street, a grown-up suit-wearing restaurant built into an old bank vault. In the basement of the Bank of America building in FiDi, The Vault feels like it might be a private club with its worker bee ambiance.

Come for happy hour, but stay for the exceptional food at this fine dining windowless Mad Men-esque establishment.

Share small plates like baked red-hawk cheese fondue, a raw bar feast, heirloom tomato salad, scallop Crudo, and veal and pork meatballs topped with a cheese crisp.

Exquisitely prepared main dishes include lobster pasta with smoked trout roe, wild mushroom risotto, and truffle stuffed chicken roulade. Look into their family-style chef tasting.

Lobster 🦞 carbonara pasta

Major props to Chef Robin Song for the memorable dishes executed with beauty – some displaying hints of his Korean heritage.

This restaurant left a lasting impression and should be part of any special night in San Francisco. Make this splurge-worthy meal part of your San Francisco experience. And if you are coming from LA, don’t forget to dress up or at least dress like a grown up.

We hope to see their return post-pandemic, post-protests.
