Legend Vineyard Exclusive, known as LVE, was a John Legend dream in the making. Like his music, John searched for the right collaborator, a vineyard whose pursuit of the perfect blend and standards of excellence equaled his own. With roots deep in the Napa Valley and award-winning wines known for beautiful balance, finesse, and power, Boisset Collection was the perfect match. 

“Following the success of last year, we are delighted to reintroduce this one-of-a-kind dining experience for both our guests and the local community,” said Anthony Keene, Executive Chef of The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills. “It’s an honor to collaborate again with acclaimed musician, television host, EGOT winner, and fellow Angeleno John Legend, along with his exceptional LVE wines from Napa Valley and France.”

For the second year, Executive Chef Anthony Keene created a John Legend Selections three-course prix-fixe menu with dishes inspired by ‘John’s Favorite Things’ from wife Chrissy Teigen’s cookbook, Cravings, paired with a curated wine list of LVE and Boisset favorites.

Starter options include Seared Scallops with charred sweet summer corn salad, Summer Sweet Corn Soup, and Shrimp Summer Roll paired with LVE Chardonnay Carneros and LVE Grenache – both Napa Valley 2021. 

Mains introduce Sweet Chili and Mustard-Glazed Salmon; Brick Spring Chicken, and Beef Wellington (for two) accompanied with Mac & Cheese Gratinee. The dishes are paired with LVE Cabernet Sauvignon.

Dessert on the special menu features Berry Pavlova paired with LVE French Sparkling Rose. 

Pricing is $85 for this indulgent three-course meal, with an optional $35 wine pairing. Quite the value for an experience this delicious. We highly recommend the LVE Cabernet Sauvignon and Beef Wellington for two!

Chef Keene’s new a la carte menu includes many shareable plates. Start with caviar service – featuring Ceviche & Caviar, Truffle French Fries & Caviar; Smoke Trout Dip and Chips; and Tuna Tacos – as well as options like Steamed Mussels; Eggplant & Squash Blossom Pizza; and a Spicy Roll with King Crab, Tempura Shrimp, Tuna, Avocado and Sesame.

Starters kick off the night with Charred Octopus Salad, Caesar Salad, Surf and Turf featuring king crab and grilled wagyu, and Ravioli with English pea, spring mushrooms, and ricotta.

Main dish highlights continue with Duck Confit and Mushroom Risotto, Tai Snapper, Chicken Schnitzel topped with veggies, a Lamb Rack (served for two), and a selection of steaks for sharing.

Among the standout a la carte dessert menu items are English Toffee Pudding, Blueberry Basque Cheesecake with blueberry ice cream, and a Dubai Sundae (prepared tableside for two) with pistachio ice cream, katafi, chocolate, strawberries and optional pistachio liqueur. Desserts are curated by The London West Hollywood’s Pastry Chef, Nidia De Los Santos.
