On a balmy July afternoon, over 4,000 guests journeyed through the wilds of Paramount Studios Hollywood for tastes from over 70 of LA’s best restaurants, breweries, vintners, spirit and beverage brands. The roar for a cancer cure was LOUD! Over $2.75 Million was raised for groundbreaking cancer research, making 2026 the most successful event in the organization’s 58 year history.

The evening’s safari-inspired theme, “Concern on Safari: Lions, Tigers & Cures,” honored longtime Concern Foundation Co-Founder and current Board Chair Jackie Gottlieb, who received the prestigious Steve R. Freed Spirit of Concern Volunteer Leadership Award in recognition of her extraordinary leadership, unwavering commitment, and decades of service to the organization.

One of our favorite culinary events of the year, we paraded through endless food and drink stations as the sun set around the makeshift movie sets of Paramount backlot that might trick you to believe we were in NYC. A gluttonous affair, some of our favorite bites and sips included:

Vibrato Grill and Jazz lamb pops and wonton tartare tacos
Picala tapas
fried chicken from BOX Chicken LA

Wife and the Somm
Ramen Tatsunoya bowls
A sushi station drawing lines at Hayama by WATAMI

Iced coffee from Weaver’s Coffee and Tea
Brique French Toastery desserts

Pink’s famous hot dogs
Cinnamon Rolls from All About the Cinnamon Baby

Live performances across three entertainment stages kept guests grooving and moving, featuring the Tom Nolan Band, D’ City Sound & Events, and the always-popular Vibrato Grill Jazz Stage, featuring the Jason Goldstein Sextet with Lilli Passero, creating the perfect soundtrack for an extraordinary evening of giving.
