The EcoLuxe Lounge Salutes the Oscars

Once again, LA’s leading sustainable TV/film product placement producer Debbie Durkin along with REVELE PR coordinated and organized a luxury hospitality lounge at the Beverly Hilton’s Stardust Penthouse coinciding with the 2015 Oscars to honor the nominees.  During the day guests mingled and learned about new products they could sample or take home, while many returned for evening festivities on the chilly starlit rooftop with a stunning view of sparkly Los Angeles.

Beautiful colorful glowing tents (by the socially conscious brand Under Canvas) kept us warm on the roof (with even a bar inside one) creating a gorgeous aura to the evening party. Oscar nominees and winners from films including American Sniper, The Theory of Everything, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Hobbit and Whiplash dropped by the Ecoluxe Lounge for a memorable February 21.

The event also brought up important topics, thanks to the sponsor Choices Recovery. My singer songwriter friend Carly Robyn-Green joined me as we spoke on camera to the Choices Recovery Founder Per Wickstrom and  host Chris Booker (AMP Radio) about LA Life, Carly’s music career, and our feelings about substance abuse in Tinsel town.

Talent and guests not only posed and were interviewed on the red carpet in this EcoLuxe Lounge, but took playful pics in the Party Life Photo Booth with props of little golden statues, film reels, and bubble quotes (Best Actress). We learned of numerous new products and services. Some of the ones that stood out included: Glamping vacations to Glacier Park, Yellowstone and The Moab Desert from Under Canvas, portable water dog bowls that fold up and can be snapped onto a loop and dog leashes from CanaDog Supply KD Pet Protector charms, healthy super tasty treats aka ‘Meal Bars’ from nutrition Chef Alex Fioroni of Healing With Food, incredibly delicious healthy on-the-go snacks from Modern Oats (yum! cinnamon, dried apples, and big oats), John Paul Pet shampoo & conditioner, and a styling bar with makeup touchups from by OC Hair & Makeup. BluBond is also a unique e-commerce and digital content platform devoted to raising awareness and funds for charitable causes. People can buy items while part of the proceeds give back.
