Last Saturday, October 1, influencers, media and guests enjoyed an inspiring morning yoga session with CorePower Yoga at the ‘Fit & Olive’ event, followed by a complimentary healthy and light Mediterranean brunch buffet hosted at Fig & Olive Melrose Place in West Hollywood, CA.
Guests participated in the free CorePower yoga class that included a fusion of their yoga style, sculpting techniques and cardio burn. After the class, guests enjoyed a post-workout brunch of healthy breakfast bites while prizes were raffled off and gifted.
Don’t forget Fig and Olive is hosting a special prix fixe chef tasting menu for $55 for the month of October to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Executive Chef Wilfrid Hocquet teamed up with Cancer survivor and Nutritionist Elissa Goodman to create this Mediterranean olive oil based menu. We previewed this healthy meal this week and learned the preventative health benefits of the Mediterranean diet. Expect menu items to include healthy salads, ginger carrot soup, salmon, and a spicy pear dessert. $10 for each meal will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
