Jeremy Fall x ThreadBeast gives us a taste of new concept, Easy’s

On Saturday, August 28 guests convened at a private residence on Crescent Heights Blvd to celebrate the upcoming September opening of 28-year-old entrepreneur Jeremy Fall‘s new modern diner concept Easy’s coming to the Beverly Center. Fall’s first restaurant Nighthawk: Breakfast Bar in Venice opened in 2016 where diners sip cereal milk cocktails and nosh on fun breakfast fare til late. The restaurant’s success lead to a second location in Chicago called Nighthawk: AM. We love this concept for date night or date brunch.

The new Easy’s (coming soon) will offer Fall’s largest menu yet. We sampled some of the casual 1950’s fare that reminded us of neighborly easy eating like macaroni and potato salad, spicy coleslaw, and biscuits while more substantial backyard food consisted of street corn, corned beef hash with red potatoes, and a burger mustard-grilled with bacon, bourbon caramelized onions, pickle spread, and American cheese. We are curious to learn what else will fall into this new Easy’s menu.

Jeremy Fall is the first restauranteur signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation. The J. Fall Group is a hospitality group that wants to modernize classic Americana concepts for a millennial demographic. Each restaurant serves food made from scratch using fresh and sustainable ingredients and is created to be fun and nostalgic. In a VoyageLA article, Jeremy says, “We like to create concepts that are a little unconventional and unexpected to push traditional hospitality boundaries and put our twist on little details for people to discover.”

One of Fall’s latest collaborations is with ThreadBeast, a streetwear box filled with goodies sent right to your home, but his box reflects childhood nostalgia. Our Jeremy Fall x ThreadBeast box contained aviator grey rimmed Perverse sunglasses, an Obey hat, colorful men’s socks from Diamond Supply Co., and bad a$$ T-shirts from The Hundreds and Zanerobe. Each of Jeremy’s Fall’s ThreadBeast boxes offers a slightly different assortment of items, but each box is filled with Easy’s signature “food porn” viewmaster filled with his own foodie Instagram photos.

Jeremy Fall’s latest collab was just in LA August 31 at Blue Ribbon – a fried chicken sandwich + funnel cake with powdered sugar and maple mayo on a brioche bun, BUT you can continue to find his State Fair chicken sandwich at Blue Ribbon in NYC and Las Vegas from September 1 – 30.

We look forward to following his unpretentious child-like hospitality game for years to come.
