On Saturday, October 27th, elite Los Angeles matchmaking service Three Day Rule hosted their epic 5th annual Halloween Soirée at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica.
Walking through the lobby of the Viceroy, I was immediately greeted by a wall of people (read: over 1,000 guests!) on the outdoor patio decked “to the nines” in amazingly creative costumes. I saw an inflatable T-Rex, a woman with an entire dress made from a Christmas tree, and a “Finding Nemo” motif in a sea of coral. Navigating around the “spooky-yet-chic” party decor, I spotted a fortune teller on hand to see into the future of partygoers.
Adjacent to the patio was a ballroom with a DJ spinning fun nostalgic dance tunes all night. Later in the evening, the ballroom area transformed into the hub for a competitive costume contest judged by a few of the matchmakers. Costume winners were crowned the “sexiest female” (a mermaid) and “sexiest male” (a shirtless warrior) at the party and went home with some generous party gifts (such as a gift card for at-home beauty services by BeGlammed and Tesla rental car credits on Carmiq).
In case that wasn’t epic enough, their celebrity MC Eric Bigger, from ABC’s the Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, was on hand to ensure party guests were rocking out all night long.
With 5 bars and a lively crowd, this was the Halloween party not to miss. I look forward to the next Three Day Rule event!
