An exclusive, fashion-filled sit-down dinner at The Holloway House in West Hollywood on October 12, 2022, celebrated Andrea’s Lookbook and Joe’s Jeans newly dropped collab, a chic sportswear capsule collection perfect to wear now featuring the must-have fall essentials every fashion girl needs.

As an established fashion designer and founder of the luxury knitwear brand VIAVAI, I have a keen eye for good quality and timeless style. This collab showcased outstanding silhouettes, colors, fabrics, and styling choices – sophisticated and modern, yet timeless. The collection offers staple pieces to add to your wardrobe, to mix and match as you please.

The Insider LaLaScoop

Lisa, the Senior Denim Designer at Joe’s Jeans, gave us the “Insider Scoop” describing the styles on display. The ANDREA SKINNY is a high-rise jean in washed denim (an all-time classic) that was styled with the DREW SWEATSHIRT with quilted sleeves and high rib details on the cuffs and hem. All attendees were gifted a fabulous gif bag including the DREW SWEATSHIRT that comes in dark grey, cream, and more.

The ELLE BLOUSON DRESS is made of partially recycled satin, in the most gorgeous Pageant Blue tone, with a micro pleated cinched waistband and mid-length skirt -very bon ton.

The ELLE dress styled with the COCO TRENCH COAT was everyone’s favorite. It is made of luxe gabardine twill in a classic camel color. The REESE BLOUSE is organic cotton with “the ALB signature bow tie” details. The REESE was tucked in The PATHAWAY SKIRT, a fabulous A-Line high-waisted, ecru denim skirt while the PATHAWAY WIDE LEG are jeans crafted in the same stretch ecru denim.

My favorite piece was the soft HEATHER SWEATER (a cozy ribbed turtle neck top) and the RIDER SWEATER DRESS, an A-line tea-length dress, both fashioned with ruffles & contrast color tipping details. I’ve always been a big believer in turtle necks since they are slimming, classy, and trés chic.

The Ambience

At Soho House’s new Holloway House, the doors opened to a charming rooftop. After a walkway of canopied daybeds, a long gorgeously decorated dinner table awaited but first, cocktails!

The colorful Cubist style mural backdrop by painter Jessalyn Brooks accented the Andrea X JOE’S collection displayed on mannequins and highlighted by the artist Jessalyn quote: “I do believe women are having a moment right now. This is the most powerful we have been in human history. I want to document that.”

The lavish table décor set the celebratory mood filled with floral arrangements and cream candles that sparkled in glass jars, plus an array of colorful veggie starters. The dinner was a delicious blend of Greek/Mediterranean dishes with a California touch.

Over great wine, guests cheered JOE’s Jeans CEO Suzy Biszants during her presentation of how the collab came about between her team and Andrea Lublin, a wardrobe stylist, fashion blogger, and influencer known for her creative, easygoing, and effortless sense of style. Suzy mentioned how much she admired Andrea’s work and how much it resonated with Joe’s DNA of “sophisticated classics.”
