Break the Love, the Next-Gen Social Sports Platform, and Lilly Pulitzer, Partner To Celebrate Women’s History Month with Kick-Off Event at La Quinta Resort

Break the Love, the next-gen social sports platform and tennis app, and Lilly Pulitzer hosted a tennis rally and panel at the prestigious La Quinta Resort and Club on Sunday, March 5, 2023, as a preview to Indian Wells Tennis Masters Tournament that takes place from March 6th – 19th. The panel featured WTA Legend – Rosie Casals, President of the WTA – Micky Lawler, and tennis pros Peanut Harper and Shelby Rogers, all on the purple court.  The ladies reminded us how far women have come to earn similar prize money as men and garner value as a female tennis player along with the importance of following your dreams and putting them into action.

In honor of Women’s History Month for March and 50 trailblazing years of the Women’s Tennis Association, female-founded Lilly Pulitzer introduced a new Print with Purpose: Holding Court. The print supports WTA charities to empower girls and women.

Guests were outfitted in fun colorful Lilly Pulitzer tennis outfits with fun pink visors and patterned accessories motivating anyone to want to get back on the court. We listened to the inspiring panel of tennis legends and hit the court for an hour of tennis play with young pros in attendance! The resident Lilly Pulitzer artist Melissa Lingo was also live painting beautiful floral art pieces that can be viewed in their store in Palm Desert.

This charitable partnership with Lilly Pulitzer will also extend throughout the month with additional events being held at the Miami Open and WTA Charleston Open later in March. This partnership benefits the WTA Charities Series.
