Celebrating dining experiences across the destination’s nine cities, Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week takes place from May 29 to June 7, 2026 with participating restaurants offering lunch and dinner deals, many with multi course set prix fixe menus.
Restaurant Week 2026 is made possible with the partnership of all nine cities in the Coachella Valley, Agua Caliente Casinos, and the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians

In past years, some of our favorite restaurant finds have included Foxy’s in Rancho Mirage, Saffron’s modern Persian specialties in Palm Springs and lunch atop the golf course at Ernie’s Bar and Grill at PGA West. Learn more here. Also, we have discovered some of the best cocktails and sips in the desert on past Restaurant Week adventures.

This year, we previewed the DINE GPS menu at Mikado Japanese Steakhouse at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa. Check out their $49 per person Restaurant Week menu. Take an island boat to reach the restaurant or cross a curving bridge for this festive teppanyaki experience of fire, flying food, and knife cutting magic. Plus, if you’re lucky, the head chef Renzo will saranade your table for special occasions.
Similar to Benihana, Mikado Japanese Steakhouse offers a full sushi menu too if you veer off the Restaurant Week menu. So if you’re feeling extra hungry, try the signature JW Marriott Roll with tempura shrimp and topped with albacore, or the spicy tempura shrimp appetizer. We love the seasoned buttery lobster and filet mignon, with steak fried rice and veggies. Watch an onion stack smoke and a bevy of funny tricks like eggs juggled and caught on the skillet spatula. “Chop chop” like a rap song on the flat iron griddle. Catch a bite in your mouth in mid air. Pair your steak or seafood bites with Soto premium sake or a Saketini with cucumber, lime, sake, and vodka. The whole night is a fun affair.
Round out your dinner with a stay and more memorable experiences in the desert.
