Never Leave LA

LA’s Best Spring Hair Color Hues

Thanks to the color expertise of Evelyn Bilauca Arrieta with Jonathan and George Salon in Beverly Hills, I couldn’t wait to see her again for another color revamp. I needed to spring into a new look. My grey was coming out and now my dark roots were not looking so lovely against my brassy blond. I thought I was going to try a more ‘sombre’ look, but Evelyn is a no nonsense girl who will tell you like it is. Not only did she think I should cut my hair shorter than I did (which I may), but she said the ombre look wasn’t going to work with me the way my grey was coming in. So, for my first time ever, she colored my whole head of hair brown and framed my face with a few blond highlights. My new look is definitely bronde!

Long hair has always been the norm in LA, but now shoulder length hair is popping up all over and is definitely the new 'in cut' for 2015. Beachy blond color by Meaghan Jones at Jonathan and George salon in Beverly Hills.

[…] Mina Kwok has been my go-to colorist for awhile because she can nail down how to keep my locks looking naturally sun-kissed without over blond-ing and keeping my grey roots blended. Referred to me by a model actress who sees her every few weeks, Mina seems to always be able to fit me in her sought-after schedule. Mina focuses on ensuring that her clients’ skin tone and hair hue complement each other. Mina believes maintaining the integrity and health of hair is the foundation for gorgeous color. Her blonde clients rave about their supreme sun-kissed pop color, while brunettes who visit Mina leave the salon with natural richness, depth and complexity to their locks.
