FACIAL, Ciel Spa at SLS Hotel, 465 S La Cienega Blvd
The newly revamped spa offers one of the best facials we have ever experienced. The custom facial begins with a 45 minute thorough exam using Biologique’s Recherche’s patented Skin Instant Lab. The knowledgeable and warm esthetician Rebecca analyzed my skin with a computer for moisture, pigmentation, elasticity, and more to determine my specific needs. The esthetician’s beauty and her white outfit matched the decor, and she felt like the perfect person to be judging my skin. This personalized treatment helped tailor my facial and product recommendations. Nothing about my facial was invasive, and upward movements were used to stimulate the product on my skin. They also offer a toning body treatment that will detoxify, re-shape, and tone the body. Beauty Balm Salon on Melrose is another outstanding option for facials.

HAIR COLOR, Jonathan and George Salon, 9320 Civic Center Dr, Beverly Hills
Mina Kwok has been my go-to colorist for awhile because she can nail down how to keep my locks looking naturally sun-kissed without over blond-ing and keeping my grey roots blended. Referred to me by a model actress who sees her every few weeks, Mina seems to always be able to fit me in her sought-after schedule. Mina focuses on ensuring that her clients’ skin tone and hair hue complement each other. Mina believes maintaining the integrity and health of hair is the foundation for gorgeous color. Her blonde clients rave about their supreme sun-kissed pop color, while brunettes who visit Mina leave the salon with natural richness, depth and complexity to their locks. HAIR CUT, Jin Bang Hair, GLAM Beverly Hills, 8809 Wilshire Blvd
One of the best cuts and blow outs in the WeHo neighborhood comes from Jin Bang. My blowouts never last more than a day and his expertise had mine still looking good on day three. I was lucky to have him snip and shape my locks when he was in town. He travels the world often educating stylists and salon owners alike, so you must contact him in advance to inquire his availability as a stylist, colorist, or educator! His impressive resume includes being a lead educator for Prive, working on countless celebs, and spearheading the advancement of the first USDA NOP certified natural styling line available for the professional industry. Jin has many talents, and currently is also the Director of Business Development at Evolue Skincare. Learn more about our Evolue experience. NAILS, B. One Nail Spa, 8011 Melrose Ave
We adore this place because it is always so clean and they work on a perfectionist level. The mani pedis may take a bit longer, but my color has lasted longer than most salons. They offer a huge selection of nail colors, like OPI shades in glossy and acrylics. Also, this is the best spot if you want to indulge in a quiet experience and one that is not fuming with chemicals.

MAKEUP, Beauty Balm Studio, 7972 Melrose Ave
Just like the Blow Bar, you can pick a make-up look for the expert make-up artists to try on you, like Bronze it Up (sun kissed glow) , Smoke it Up (eyes), Pucker Up (bold lip look), and No Make-up Makeup (au natural). You can come in to brush up on your beauty skills, learn make-up techniques, and even have the girls makeover your make-up bag. No one can do a smokey eye like Beauty Balm. Small parties and private events are welcome.
