Fresh Beauty at the Grove LA held an early morning private breakfast with nutrition expert and cookbook author McKel Hill where guests learned how to make their skin glow, inside and out. Your skin tells a story and we learned healthy cooking tips for home to nourish the body, while drooling over the skincare and beauty products in the store.

Fresh is known for its makeup and skin care products that mix ancient beauty rituals with modern technologies to deliver powerful results. Last week Fresh showcased some incredible products we will be using daily. First, their new Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy Boosting Face Mask smells so good you’ll want to eat it. Made of a citrus jam texture of 50% crushed oranges, lemons, and clementines, it is fueled by this vitamin fruit complex and blend of fruit extracts, revitalizing minerals, and vitamins C, E, and B5. You can use this mask three times a week for the ultimate glowing skin. Results are expected even after one use.
The Soy Face Cleansing Milk joins Fresh’s Soy Collection. This cleanser goes on your dry face first, and it removes makeup and dirt gently while conditioning the skin with hibiscus flower extract. The original Soy Face Cleanser has been a #1 seller at Sephora. Another favorite skin glow item is the Fresh Face Instant Glow Luminizer that gives you a sheer illuminating look as a face cream, or used over makeup on the cheeks or around the eyes or wherever you want for the ultimate fresh face.
McKell Hill known as @NutritionStripped on Instagram shared her delicious and simple whole food anti-inflammatory recipes from her new cookbook called Nutrition Stripped, 100 Whole Food Recipes Made Deliciously Simple. She showed us how to quickly make Sunny Overnight Oats with clementines that you can make and store in your fridge for early morning fiber, healthy fats, and protein.
We are currently obsessed with the juice and healthy drink suggestions in her cookbook. Last night we made her Turmeric Milk and this morning we made her Watermelon Herb refreshing drink. We can’t wait to concoct her Sweet Potato Julius drink and Citrus Creamy Ginger Smoothie. Healthy snacks and starter basics are also included like avocado toast six different ways, kale chips with various seasonings, and basic hummus.

Other tips we learned from Nutrition Stripped is how easy it is to make jams with chia seeds, how to best poach an egg, and how to juice with a blender and cheesecloth if you don’t have a juicer. Check out Nutrition Stripped for more energy boosting exceptional recipes and ways to nourish your body.
