If you are still reeling and reminiscing about the live music and parties weeks later, you probably were at Coachella Music and Arts Festival. Pre-Coachella fashion and primping starts early in Los Angeles, before most of the city heads out to this two weekend desert festival. In Westwood you could find places like the TanningBoutique packed with girls AND guys getting that extra glow or even slimming down with their Contour Light Body Sculpting followed by their 10 minute whole body vibration session. Like in 2015, we LaLaScoop’ed some of the best Coachella branded festivities of 2017.

A Blind Dragon Pop Up Desert Experience

The h.wood Group presented the Blind Dragon Pop Up Desert Experience with a special performance by Post Malone. The gorgeous setting in Thermal surrounded by a lake and mountains included lounge beds for guests draped with red curtains. Many brands were on site to tantalize guests like Bud Light, Jack Daniels, Absolut Elyx, and FlavRX. Emina Mila from Beverly Hills was on site to style hair or add colorful feathers in Coachella boho music style. Jet Smarter shared their table with us as we learned why their yearly membership may solve all your travel dreams, especially when their private jets can be hopped on quickly like an Uber. Zappos had the best bathroom truck with selfie lighted mirrors and even buttons to shoot out capsule sized prizes.

Lucky Lounge’s Desert Jam at The Ingleside Inn

The Desert Lounge (produced by BMF Media) showed off the latest Lucky Brand gear all weekend while guests enjoyed hair coloring and style services, gifting, food, a beauty bar with YOUCAM makeup, and hand stitched monogrammed Lucky scarves. High Brew Coffee, Heinekin Light, Deep Eddy vodka, and Core water kept party goers quenched while DJ’s like Taryn Manning rocked the pool party in Palm Springs and Noah Cyrus (Miley’s sis) made a special appearance to perform. We left with aqua chalked hair and glitter in our braids and a good ole coffee buzz.

PopSugar at the Colony Palms Hotel

The historic Colony Palms Hotel in Palm Springs brought the young kids out to thanks to participants like Nordstrom and Ulta Beauty. POPSUGAR Must-Haves were showcased poolside while guests mingled and sipped on cocktails. GRAMMY Award-winning, multiplatinum recording artist Daya performed as well as DJ Brittany Sky. Celebs included Victoria Justice, Yara Shahidi, Aja Naomi King, Olivia Culpo, Jamie Chung, Peyton List, Tyler Posey, and more.

Ciroc Summer Take Over at the Hard Rock Hotel

Ashlee Simpson-Ross and Evan Ross toasted the lively music-fueled weekend with the new limited edition CÎROC Summer Colada. Guests sipped on the new CÎROC Colada Remix cocktails in the Hard Rock Hotel’s lobby pit and enjoyed live music from the property’s resident acoustic performer, Esjay. Guests included Garcelle Beauvais, Dania Ramirez, Christina Milan, Vanessa Angel, Crystal Hunt, and Paloma Ford.

Bootsy Bellows estate in Rancho Mirage

Chevrolet and PacSun hosted this rockstar party at a mansion in Rancho Mirage. Guests were shuttled from a location disclosed the day before to this private estate for food trucks, live music, cocktails, and fun. Chevrolet was onsite celebrating the launch of the all-electric Chevrolet Bolt EV.  Guests could videotape themselves inside the car drumming on the steering wheel. Adidas had a walk-in freezer juice bar on site filled with cacti entombed with ice, where guests could pose and taste their new venture, Adidas healthy juices.

Cali cool brand PacSun highlighted their festival-inspired pop-up shop featuring their coveted custom denim jackets with LA pins. We loved the white denim with ‘Los Angeles’ stitched on the back and the 80’s retro ripped acid washed jean vests. Guests were treated to a performance by hip-hop artist Lil Yachty who performed his hit songs including crowd-favorite “1 Night.”

TopShop TopMan’s Escape in Palm Springs

Korakia hosted a select group of celebrities, influencers, and press at the TopShop TopMan Escape in Palm Springs at the breathtaking boutique hotel Korakia Pensione in Palm Springs. This historic, 28-room, Mediterranean-inspired getaway was voted the “Sexiest hotel in America” by Forbes Traveler. The two-day event featured brands like Skin Laundry, Gypsy Shrine, IVY PARK, and Playlist Yoga.

Sunday was the perfect escape here, especially recovering from little sleep with mini back massages, on-site cooling facials from Skin Laundry, hair crown designing, quick and easy hair extensions that match your locks from Secret Extensions, and dazzling glitter body paint from The Gypsy Shrine, because you should always look like a sparkly unicorn. Guests could shop festival gear at TopShop. Everyone loved the food while sipping refreshing coconut water and guava vodka cocktails from CoCo21 plus rebooting with the Chagit Health shot, the ultimate extraction of the chaga mushroom and the most powerful antioxidant superfood ever discovered.

Katy Perry’s Footwear Easter Sunday “Recovery” Brunch in Thermal

Produced by John Terzian’s with the h.wood Group, Katy Perry hosted the colorful daytime event featuring an exclusive pop-up debuting her Katy Perry Footwear collection, where guests re-fueled with vitamin elixirs, oxygen bars and reflexology massages, including a festive Easter egg hunt by Cover Girl, and beats spun by Mia Moretti, Balthazar Getty & Bobby French, at a private estate in Thermal, CA. Guests included Mia Morretti, Adam Lambert, Johnny Wujeck (Creative Director for Katy Perry Collections), Jean Watts, Jeremy Scott, Russell Simmons, Gigi Gorgeous, and Ferris, among others.

Other sizzling day and evening parties included Vestal Village, Revolve, Victoria’s Secret, NYLON, and Foray Collective.
