Supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio celebrated the launch of her new hair care collection, MARAJÓ, high in the hills at a lavish Beverly Hills estate overlooking twinkling Los Angeles. Guests sipped drinks poolside with a gold glitz and glam theme while being entertained by sensational “Victoria’s Secret-like” samba dancers.

MARAJÓ, made with hydrating, restorative Pracaxi Oil extract found in Alessandra’s native country of Brazil is set to revolutionize the hair industry. MARAJÓ is the largest fresh water island in the world found off the coast of Brazil in the heart of the Amazon. It’s secret is the Pracaxai Nut Oil that for centuries has been praised for its remarkable soothing and healing properties. Now, it’s the key ingredient behind their formulas that in two simple steps refresh and restore the look of your hair. The owner of Marajo and Alessandra said a few words as guests crowded around the glowing pool with gold dust carefully spelling out the words MARAJO.
“It was such an exciting evening celebrating the launch of Marajo, complete with an incredible Brazilian inspired dance performance. I really love the product, especially how soft and healthy it makes my hair feel, and can’t wait for everyone to try it.” – Alessandra Ambrosio, Brand Spokesperson

Co-hosted by brand developer and celebrity hair colorist Denis de Souza, global brand educator and celebrity hair stylist Dan Sharp and supermodel Erin Heatherton, other guests included Brazilian music artist Claudia Leitte, beauty and fashion influencers Candy Washington, Kira Nasrat, and Rachel McCord, and DJ music by Caroline D’Amore.
Guests were greeted with gold embellished champagne and specialty cocktails by House of Carbonadi, then treated to hair styling with Marajo with gold accents, and makeup enhanced with gold stars, gold eyeliner and more thanks to the beauty App Priv. A big attraction was the grand gilded photo opp built around a golden throne for party goers to pose. #OnlyinLA
